Research Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in experimental psychology specializing in psychophysics and a master of computer science (M.C.S.) degree specializing in software engineering. Dr. Schartz has worked with Dr. Donald Dorfman and Dr. Kevin Berbaum since 1998 developing and maintaining the Dorfman, Berbaum, and Metz (DBM) software (RSCORE, CBM, and MRMC).
