Lab Overview

The Radiology Department's Medical Image Perception Laboratory is located in the Medical Laboratories building at the University of Iowa. 

The facilities house a large reading area where image perception studies are performed and several adjoining offices for investigators and research staff.

The lab is connected to the Department of Radiology image network via a fiber-optic data distribution interface. This permits us to receive images, remove patient information, and create a local archive of images for use in our research.
